The Cheshire Line pub on Manchester Road has submitted a planning application.
The proposal is planning application DC/064618: Construction of a single storey dining room extension and glazed shelter onto the front of an existing public house/restaurant.

As part of the expansion proper save crossing of Manchester roadvia pedestrian controlled lights is esential so that pedestrians have save and secure access to the site which they do not have at present. This Must be secured
There is no direct pedestrian access without uncontrolled access across Manchester road and no user friendly pedestrian and cycle access to the site so how on earth expansion proposals can be considered without this being considered beggers believe
