New play equipment for Jubilee Park

A new piece of play equipment is due to be installed in Diamond Jubilee Park, Cheadle – hopefully before the summer holidays.
The equipment will look similar to the picture here.
It’s funded from local planning applications and has to be spent near to the planning application location. Local playgrounds each have pots of money and get new equipment when the pot gets big enough to pay for it.

That’s good news for the children and the carers who like to see them enjoying park facilities. The same people would much appreciate provision for repairing the pavements on parts of Stockport Road, especially opposite Queens gardens when they have to walk the children through the ‘ponds’ after just a little rain. I know I have a’thing’ about this but after the recent road resurfacing, I had hoped that it wouldn’t be left there. Hey ho!
