All hail the 45 bus

The 45 bus route goes from Heald Green through the Lakes Estate, then into Gatley (via Delamere Road) and then right into Manchester.
There are no stops on St Ann’s Road North, Silverdale Road, Foxland Road or Delamere Road, but you can still hail the bus that goes along Silverdale Road at 07.10, 09.30, 11.30, 1.40 and 3.51.
Unfortunately, TfGM haven’t gone out of their way to tell anyone, but it’s true! So if you want to catch the 45, you should be able to hail it anywhere between Finney Lane and Gatley Road. The timetable is here.

I have already noted that running a bus on St. Anne’s Rd. is nonsense particularly because of the danger when traversing the parked cars opposite Grasmere Road (I have had to drive on the pavement to pass a southbound large van). How a bus can navigate the one-lane features safely is ridiculous. I await the incident reports!
