Friends of local lad Will have turned the skateboard ramp in Gatley Rec Ground into a memorial, after he took his own life.

Will, who was in his early twenties when he died a few days ago, spent many of his teenage years at the skateboard ramps and attended local schools.

“Will’s death is a tragedy – I’m glad his friends have been able to mourn his passing in a way that would have meant something to him,” said Iain.
