The RMT Union will be on strike on Monday 8th, Wednesday 10th and Friday 12th January 2018 and, as with previous strikes, Northern Rail will be running a reduced service – mostly one train an hour stopping at Gatley in each direction, with an additional 8.32 train into Manchester.
