Cheadle Police report, 16th April 2018

by Lib Dem team on 16 April, 2018

From the local police:

Good Morning All,

Since the short update on Friday 13th April, there is little to report in terms of Residential Burglaries and Vehicle Crimes from over the weekend!

At an unknown time between 22:30 Friday – 10:19 Sunday, the registration plates were stolen from two parked vehicles at an address in Heald Green.

Following the below post on Facebook, and some further incidents across the Derbyshire/Cheshire Force, arrests have been made. Investigation is ongoing and we are awaiting any charges at this stage.

INFORMATION REQUEST: We have had a number of breaks into convenience stores across Cheadle and Bramhall (5 in one week). We have reason to believe that it is the same group mentioned in the previous post committing vehicle offences using the white van. If anyone has any information regarding the offenders/vehicle, or sees ANYTHING suspicious, please call 999 (if on-going) or 101 (to provide information after the event).

Thanks

Cheadle Neighbourhood Policing Team

  1. Any information regarding the gang of youths that were reported on SK8 attacking someone on a bus in Cheadle? There was a lot of concern aired about feral gangs roaming the area.

  2. Iain Roberts says:

Nothing that I’ve heard, I’m afraid Phillip.

  3. Ian says:

I spoke with two different patrols of PCOS in the village last week and said it was good to see more patrolling Cheadle and the Term Feral gangs of Youths was used by them as well when they highlighted an incident near Costa Coffee. What is being done about these Gangs.
