There seems to be more police patrolling Gatley at the moment & it is much needed. We were burgled (completely ransacked in fact) last Tue on Styal Road. I would urge people to continue to ring 101 (even if you have to wait a while to get through) to report any suspicious behaviour so the police are aware of the areas in need of patrols. There’s also a live chat on GMP website I believe which is supposed to be speedier way to contact police without using the 999 service.

I’m do not know what the planned frequency is but most days I see PCSO’s either walking in Cheadle or on push bikes. It’s very good to see a frequent presence.
