Update from 01/09/18 – 07/09/18.

We had 8 residential burglaries in Cheadle last week, 7 of those were in Heald Green and 1 in Gatley. Most were attempted break ins and fortunately were unsuccessful in gaining entry.

Please help reduce the risk of break ins by making sure all possible outdoor objects are safely locked away in a garage or shed. Any ornaments etc. you may have outside around your property that an offender could use.

There have been 7 Theft From Vehicle crimes within the Cheadle area and 2 Theft of Vehicle Crimes. One of those vehicles has since been recovered.

Some offenders are using an unlocking mechanism to try and gain entry to vehicles, if you keep your keys close to the door, I advise to put them in a locked draw or upstairs in a safe location.
