Gatley’s first worker bee market was a great success, with people flocking to the stalls.
The market, held in the Bethany Church car park opposite Gatley Green, saw all sorts of stalls set up for the day, and the local coffee shops were doing brisk business too.
“It’s great to see Gatley join Cheadle in having a good local market – we look forward to seeing it develop over the coming months,” said Cllr Iain Roberts.

A great success I think.
If they do another, I hope the young woman selling her chutneys will be there – absolutely outstanding quality.
And the guy from Baguley selling honey from his own bees.
If I can be put in touch with the vendor of the honey from Baguley in Wythenshawe, I’d like to invite him for interview at the Forum. http://www.wfmradio.org
