Ockleston memorial officially unveiled at Victorian Christmas Market

Graham, Keith and Iain would like to congratulate Cheadle Civic Society on the transformation of Cheadle Green. The work is now complete with the Ockleston Memorial back in place.
Cheadle’s Victorian Christmas Market was amazing, and it’s down to the hard work of a lot of people – some of whom are in the photos below.
It’s great having all these markets, but there’s no parking spaces, hence shops like ours loosing out.
Why not have it on a Sunday then it doesn’t interfere with Shop’s that pay the business rates 365 days of the year?
I agree. A Sunday would be a much better day to hold these events.
