St Ann’s Hospice £20 regeneration plan

St Ann’s Hospice has launched plans for a £20m regeneration, with new buildings on the land next to the current hospice. The new site would be around twice the size of the current one, and the development would be part funded by 40 new homes built on the current site.

Iain, Great news for the Hospice! Shocking news for the St Ann’s Rd North residents. Does anybody listen or care about parking and state of this road. And side roads. The Council has progressively destroyed this road with the Business park and Silverdale parking.

i am all for this new hospice but as john says what about parking and traffic. I hope now we will get some form of humps or chicanes on Grasmere Road as it is nothing but a cut through. If i had a speed camera it would show you how fast it is being used. And for years we have had a LIB Dem councillor living on it. Oviously oblivious to this.
