We have been told that the frequency of many Greater Manchester bus services is being reduced from Sunday 31st January 2021.
This includes the Number 11 bus, which drops to one bus every 30 minutes Monday-Friday.

These changes have been agreed between the commercial bus operators and TfGM in response to lockdown.

Sign of the times – not so long ago that service was every 12 minutes
Hopefully, it will be again. I guess the problem they’ve got is who pays to run the services when the buses are 90% empty all the time.

Even bus companies need to be solvent to pay staff, fuel etc so as not to go the way of Debenhams et al unless given lots of money similar to London Transport.
Before the likes of Stagecoach came along, the bus services run by the Corporation started to decline. That is why the Busy Bee service first started.
