Key crime report from the Police

After a gap of a few weeks we are once again getting a report from the local Police on the key crimes recorded in our area last week.

the figures represent Crimes recorded against each of our foot beats under the categories of Residential Burglary, Business and Community Burglary, Robbery and Vehicle Offences, for the previous week (Monday-Sunday)

    Compared to historical data these figures seem to point to a substantial reduction in crime.
    This is to be applauded, can we have an explanation of the factors that have brought this about and the learning for future reference.

      The numbers of actual crimes committed, reported crime and recorded crimes are miles apart.

        The new Chief Constable is going kick rears on none recording and non investigation of crimes. Good news for the law abiding public
