The Friends of Scholes Park met on Thursday. Thank you to the volunteers in the Friends group who have done so much great work in recent years and continue to work hard to improve the fields.

– Having raised the funding needed the ‘Trim Trail Play Equipment’ is due to be installed and opened in September 2022.
 – Looking for support to improve Entrance Paths to Scholes Park in a number of locations including: the path from Firsmount, the path past the water works near the running track and others.
 – Gatley Hill House refurbishment is now complete in terms of building work, It will be re-occupied in July including new council offices.    FoSP are looking to fund a ‘Listening Bench’ to complement the re-opening and a new sign welcoming visitors to the area and giving details of the history of Gatley Hill House
