The Cheadle Muslim Association have a very exciting event coming up on Saturday 24th September – it’s the “Lifesavers” event at Cheadle Mosque. This is part of a national initiative spearheaded by the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) and has mosques up and down the country opening their doors to educate their local communities (all faiths) in CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

This session will tell you all you need to know and do if someone was to have a cardiac arrest.

It will demonstrate how to give chest compressions, rescue breaths, when to call for help and how to protect their airway.

It’s easy – no previous knowledge is needed and it is a skill that we should all learn.
So please join us on Saturday 24th September 2pm – 5pm at Cheadle Mosque, sessions are being run every hour : 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

Your training will last just one hour – you will be taught by trained doctors/medical students and be able to practice on mannequins.

Certificates will be provided for all attendees and the session is free. Everyone is welcome to attend – it is open to men, women and older children (aged 11 years and above). There will be ladies only and men only sessions.

To ensure we have enough trainers – please register beforehand via phone/email to confirm your place.
