Vince Cable has been a regular visitor to Cheadle over the last few years and I’m sure will be a great leader for the Lib Dems. I meet him in Manchester, just after the General Election was announced and again after he became leader. Known as the “Sage of Westminster”, Vince’s warnings ahead of the 2008 crash were dismissed by Labour and Conservative politicians.
Today, Vince is warning of the damage Brexit will do to our economy, and to each and every one of us.

:-)))…
You could not make it up!…
To go from a ‘sixth form skule kid’ to a ‘nursing home coffin dodger’ – in one fell swoop – without even a vote!!
Not at all Liberal, less still Democratic!!!
But somehow you have still made it up!
Instead of insulting people because of their age, how about listening to what Vince has to say?

Oh, but, tha has!…
“An exit from Brexit” – oh dear, Oh Dear, OH DEAR!!
As I approach the old age bracket I will not have anything bad to say about Vinces age but I do think NOW was the opportunity for some Young Blood to take the LDs forward. At the time of the next Election you want to be stirring the Youth Voter with some “Fresh Ideas” for me Mr Cable is soiled from his Coalition with Cameron. Sadly for me Iain not a great move.
The problem with him is that people will remember his time in government with the Tories and the tuition fees reversal.
