Cheadle Library will be closed from Monday 21 May to Saturday 16 June 2018 for building works. Customers can access our services at any library in Stockport. Find our nearest library. You can renew your library items online or borrow ebooks and audiobooks via our online service.

Perhaps some notice of the closure before it took place would have been very useful
Pater – it was publicised – I knew about it weeks ago.
Not to me it wasn’t. As a volunteer, I paid for, planted and watered plants in the quadrangle and now I assume they are wilting/dead as there is no one who can get access to them! It would have been better I had been asked to do it after the closure.
Citizens advice, which is located in the same building, remains open – Mon, Tues and Thurs.
There are workmen working there some of the time and I am sure they’d let you in to water the plants.

Prior to the emphasis on health and safety (which is no bad thing) I could have blagged my way in but in fairness to the contractors they have access with no public in the building. Citizens Advice which remains open is a separate section of the building.
