Scholes planters get off the ground

by Lib Dem team on 4 October, 2019

Cllr Keith Holloway has congratulated local schools and Friends of Scholes Park for new planters.

“The Friends of Scholes Park have led on this scheme from the start,” said Keith. “They applied to the councillors for funding, which we were more than happy to give, and have worked with local schools to turn a great idea into reality. The planters really brighten up the park, and it’s great to see schoolkids being so involved.”

Thanks to the councillors for the funding and the Friends of Scholes Park for the scheme and the primary school children for their work on the planters. Just hope that nobody spoils it because that would be a shame after all the work that has been done.

The planters are lovely and brighten up the park. Pleased local schools have been involved and hope those kids will prevent them from being vandalised
