Area Committee was at 6pm on Tuesday 28 Jan 2020. It was held at Trinity Church, Massie Street, Cheadle.

Here’s what was decided:

• Application for £500 towards a defibrilator (total cost £2000) for Cheadle Hulme town centre was approved.
• No planning applications
• Proposals for cycling and walking improvements between the A555 Relief Road and Cheadle Hulme as part of the Mayor’s Cycling and Walking Challenge Fund were supported.
• Proposals for cycling and walking improvements on Bird Hall Road, Councillor Lane and Cheadle Road as part of the Mayor’s Cycling and Walking Challenge Fund were supported, with the exception of the Cheadle Road crossing at Balmoral which needs a rework with further consultation.
• Proposal to install two new park benches in Diamond Jubilee Park, Cheadle was approved.
