What provision will be made for vehicle access to St Ann’s Hospice e.g. for ambulances, deliveries, staff, patient visitors?
Hi John – normally with these road closures access for residents is maintained. I’m sure the council has been in contact with St Ann’s to ensure their particular requirements are met.
Evening Ian wondered if you had heard back from the council re access to our sports centre on Sunday
Hi Jonny, I’ve not got an answer yet I’m afraid. My contact at the council is finding out.
Hi Jonny, I’ve now had a response from the Council:
“I have had conformation access will be maintained to Emergency vehicles, Pedestrians/residents for St Anns Hospice, the school and sports club.”
That’s great for St Anne’s Road
at Is happening to Arlington Road Cheadle
Over. 2 years a go contractors came to slurry the pavements
They said the pavement was to bad and needed reconstruction. Last year a survey was done for total reconstruction but nothing
has happened
Can you advise when it will be done
Hi Martin – we’ll go to the council and see what we can find out.
Hi Iain
Another issue probably more important
There is a hole in the road in Broadway which a tire going into could cause severe damage to a car
Last week someone from the Council came and marked it up for repair. Yesterday someone unknown put a traffic cone on top.
This needs urgent repair as it looks to me as being caused by a collapsed drain which could suddenly enlarge
Hi Martin, thanks for letting us know. I’ll chase that up.
Warren Avenue ……when will it be done? Please advise.
I asked for feedback on an issue(last week) can that receive your attention? Thank you.
Hi Janet – the council doesn’t give us much advance notification I’m afraid – we normally only find out when roads are going to be done a few weeks in advance.
Sorry for missing your query last week – I’ll go and find it now.
Afternoon Ian as you know we have a sport centre on St Ann’s Rd North, just wondering if we will still be able to access the site
Hi Johnny – I’ve contacted the council to ask about the details for access. Hopefully I’ll hear back on Tuesday to update you.
Thanks Iain. That’s good news.
I hope that Grasmere Road will be resurfaced soon (not just patched). The stretch all around the bend near Kentmere Close is really bad now.
Many thanks for your help Ian
